What Kind of Paddle Is This
Soft Where It Counts.
Grit That Lasts.
"Sneaky power."
-- Dekel Barr, pro player
The Honest Pitch
This is not a power paddle, and we are not going to pretend it is. The Jelly Bean 2 is built for players who prioritise feel, placement, and touch over raw pop. You will not overpower anyone off the bounce. But you will place the ball where you want it and find pace when you need it. If you have always played a softer paddle and never found one that held up, this is the one.
Not for you if you want raw put-away power off the serve or a paddle that does the work for you.
What Changed in Version 2
Every Upgrade
Players Asked For.
The original Jelly Bean gave players the soft feel they loved. The Jelly Bean 2 keeps everything that worked and fixes everything that did not.
EMA Foam Core
Softer and denser than the original Jelly Bean core. The ball feels like it sits on the face longer. Real dwell for dinks, drops, and resets that die in the kitchen. Longer contact on every touch shot.
HexGrit Surface (Patent Pending)
Grit that holds its bite. The CFC triple-layer face -- two layers of raw Toray T700 sandwiching fibreglass -- now with patent-pending HexGrit permanently infused. Spin on day 100 like spin on day 1.
Free Cover + 12 Month Warranty
Every Ultre Jelly Bean 2 ships with a free neoprene cover and is backed by a 12-month warranty. Premium protection included from day one.
Why Players Will Love the Jelly Bean 2
More Feel.
More Control.
More Durability.
EMA Foam Core -- Real Dwell
Not marketing dwell. Actual dwell. The softer, denser EMA foam holds the ball on the face measurably longer than a standard polymer core. The result is dinks that die, drops that hold their arc, and resets that stay in the kitchen.
HexGrit -- Durable Spin That Lasts
The original Jelly Bean had great spin out of the box. The Jelly Bean 2 has great spin on day 100. HexGrit is permanently infused into the ArmorCarbon face rather than applied over it. The grit does not wear off because it is part of the face.
Sneaky Power When You Need It
Soft core does not mean no power. Accelerate through the ball and the EMA foam stores and releases energy cleanly. You will not hit power winners off the bounce, but you will put the ball away when you need to.
